This show is a vital source for urban music coverage in Winnipeg. The Lounge's aim is to showcase both local and international talent, and expose these artists to the Winnipeg urban audience. With the networking skills of Sweetdiva, the writing skills of Jello, and the vinyl tactics of Rep 1 a.k.a. Sean B and DJ Fin-S, this crew brings the best in both underground and above ground music, while offering many special feature interviews. Past interviews have featured such artists as Mood Ruff, Divine Styler, Mixmaster Mike, The Mountain Brothers, Citizen Kane, Chuck D, Saukrates, Akil of J5 and more. They also work with promoters in "Peg City" in promoting shows and concerts. The crew are well connected and respected within the Winnipeg urban scene, and have been part of the scene for years.

We would also like to welcome Sweetdiva to TheCyberKrib as she will be working as the Winnipeg area rep for us. If you have any questions about the Winnipeg scene, or if you'd like to connect with TheCyberKrib in Winnipeg, you can reach her at the above email address.

Look out in the coming weeks for these interviews on The Lounge...

February 20 - Kid Koala - Ninja Tune and Bullfrog skratchologist with debut album due this month
February 27 - Christine Padilla - Producer of 'Elephant Tracks' benefit complilation

Also...coming soon Dan-e-o.

You can also check out an upcoming Lounge sponsored concert in March with acts including Kardinal, Checkmate, Monolith, and Frek Sho. Keep checking our EVENTS listings for full details on this event.
