W O W !!!!

For the first time in the history of Canadian Music, the Canadian governing body (the CRTC) responsible for Radio & Television has granted an FM license to a Commercial Urban Music format.

For years American stations broadcasting into the Toronto area have reaped millions of dollars in advertising from the Urban community. Now, home-grown music alongside the hits from America will be broadcast simultaneously over a Canadian, Black-owned radio station! (this is HUGE)

The pundits, critics and nay-sayers will now begin to see the power of Urban music and the community at large. No longer will artists say "... we went Gold without ANY commercial radio." Sponsors, Major Labels and the public cannot ignore the facts, they will have no excuse for not supporting the music. They will now have a true measure of the success... and will have to follow through accordingly.

Applause to the Milestone team who were turned down on numerous occasions but still persevered on behalf of the millions of listeners who are in tune with the 20th century and with what Urban music can do.
