Nasty Nas to Esco to Escobar, now he is non-existent...sorry I mean Nastradamus. I don't know bout you, but for me I have finally lost that one ounce of luv I still had left for Nas. I haven't even heard his latest album, and am in no rush to peep it. Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions right? Maybe he came with it on his last album? I don't think so. I've gotten a consensus from pretty much every Hip Hop Head I know, and they all have replied "It's crap!". Even those R & B lovers, who usually fall victim to Nas, aren't feelin' it too much. Call me a playa hata! Hell, tattoo it on my forehead! I really don't care. But Nas hasn't fallen off, he's tripped, fallen and rolled completely off the map. I mean I knew he could never go back to his "illmatic' days, but I don't think anyone would have guessed that he would have travelled so far from home. Seems like quality Hip Hop music has been kinda scarce these days. It appears that some of these Katz have realized that they can make mad "chedda" off this thing. Now because of this we got e'body and their grandma putting a record or two out in no time, possessing no kinda quality whatsoever. Lately I've been listenin' to mainly odd tunes, rememberin' how it use to be. Until my man Common raised his head above the surface again. Since Common recently released his album, I've been pumpin' it consistently, tryin to step into his window, or at least peer in. I was inspired by one of the songs on his album, "The questions", and you know, I had some questions of my own...

Why can't everything that Lil Kim does be like how she dropped it on The Quiet Storm remix?

Why is Black Rob so faithful to Puffy?

Why'd did we have to wait so long for Rah Digga's album?

Why must every damn R & B song have a rap part in it?

Why must so many "Hip Hop" songs, and I use that term loosely, have a girl screachin a cheesy hook on it?
