Fiend - Street Life No Limit/Priority Reviewed By: Rip |

(CRAWL)
This album is fairly typical No Limit fare, above average beats with lyricists well below average. Fiend has a raspy voice which he proceeds to beat over your head for the entire album. Fiend is a little better on the mic than most No Limit soldiers, although his subject matter is pretty standard and unimaginative.
Again, Beats By the Pound comes through with some banging beats, and some less impressive ones. If you could ignore the substandard rapping, this might actually be a better album.
Fiend is most effective when he's not yelling at the top of his lungs. He's almost bearable on more laid back tracks like "Heart of A Ghetto Boy."
Tracks to check for are few and far between, but a few include "Heart of A Ghetto Boy," "If They Don't Know," "Trip to London," and "Waiting On God."
The final verdict: Above average for No Limit, below average hip-hop. Pass.
