It has been a long time since 1993, when the Wu-Tang Clan burst onto the scene with their classic debut "Enter the 36 Chambers." A lot has changed since then, but a lot of heads were waiting for Deck, one of the most acclaimed lyricists in the Clan. Luckily, this album doesn't disappoint.

Lyrically, there isn't much more you could ask for from this album. Deck spits knowledge and street stories with equal proficiency, always managing to maintain his positive message. Guest lyricists include La the Darkman, Killa Sin, Street, Masta Killa and U-God. Probably the best guest performance comes from La on "Lovin You."

The Rza has stepped back quite a bit from production, and it's obvious here, but 4th Disciple, True Master, Deck himself provide more than adequate Wu beats. Pete Rock also makes an appearance, producing, "Trouble Man," arguably one of the album's strongest cuts.

Tracks to check for: "9th Chamber," "The Grand Prix," "Forget Me Not," "Word On The Street," "Elevation," "Lovin You," "Trouble Man," "R.E.C. Room," "Friction," and "Hyperdermix"

The final verdict: An excellent album, worthy of the Wu seal of approval. Definitely worth the ducats.
