Members of Saafir's Hobo Junction crew, the Whoridas new album, High Times is another ode to the skunk. This underrated Left Coast crew brings original beats and flows, if not subject matter, to the table.

Beats are produced by Lev Berlak and Wilson Hawkins, except for "Get Lifted" and "Jane" produced by DJ Rectangle. This limited producer roster helps to hold a more cohesive sound to the album, but conversely, there aren't as many new sounds.

Lyrics are ably handled by Choppa Saan and Mr. Taylor. While not spectacular lyricists, they more than hold their own. Guest spots include Poke, Third Rail Vic, Crown Jul, Yukmouth of the Luniz, Son Doobie of Funkdoobiest, Saafir, Volume 10 and Xzibit.

Tracks to check for include: "Harem", "Get Lifted," "Blockbustaz," "Family Deep," and "Godfathers"

The final verdict: A consistent album, that has it's good points and bad points. Some of the album is somewhat boring, but for the most part, a good effort.
